Denim & Sheer embroidered Top

Hi everyone! “It’s Michelle My Belle”…also know as Roxy, Shelly, and a few other nick names. I’m working on deciding what direction I want to take my blog in. It started out as a way to advertise for my accessories, then later turned into a fashion blog, it worked for a while because the two went hand in hand but I felt it was time to make some changes. I still sell my jewelry but it’s not my main focus anymore so I changed the name of the blog and my other social media platforms.

I was not in the mood to create another blog from scratch, blogging is difficult enough and it’s taken years to get to this point. My actual name is “Michelle” and I thought it would be nice to tie my name into the blog title. I figure since so much of what I write about has to do with me personally it just made sense…what do you think?  Once I figure out all the technicalities, I think a blog revamp would be a great start for my future goals.

I feel like I’m warming up to these outfit of the day posts. The whole concept is starting to come back to me LOL! At first everything was so awkward posing for the camera but I think I’m getting closer to my comfort level. It must be the 8 pounds I lost..wooohooo!! Now that I eat differently I realize just how much I was over consuming. I’m not on any special diet, I’ve just decided to pay better attention to how much and how often I eat.  It was really important for me to make these lifestyle changes.

The beauty of living in the south is that it’s only March but the weather is perfection! It was gorgeous today, sunny, light breeze, with flowers popping up every where. Signs that spring is just around the corner. I fell in love with this sheer embroidered top that I found at Ross Dress for Less it was $14 and I had to have it. It’s light, flowy, and feminine. I paired it with a white cami and some basic blue jeans.

I purchased the shoes and bag at Marshalls because I’m basically addicted to that store. I don’t think I ever walk out empty handed. I think they have the cutest selection of accessories for reasonable prices. The shoes are so comfortable and the bag has nice detailing on the front.

Enjoy the pictures and thank you for visiting!

Long Walks In The Park…

Hi Guys! I don’t know about you guys but I’m exhausted, mentally and physically this week. I’m looking forward to the July 4th break already, just to have some time off from work 😉 I’m preparing for my next big move and I must admit there are so many emotions running through me daily, I don’t know how I’m able to keep it all together.
As I took this stroll through the park today I realized that I can only plan but so far in advance. There are going to be certain obstacles that I will have to face at that appointed time. Life is such a journey and I’m happy that I’ve experienced so much good and bad situations. It’s shaped who I am today and I’m looking forward to even more growth that comes from all these experiences….Reflection is a beautiful thing!

Why I Love Thrifted Jeans…

Hi Beauties! Happy Hump day ; ) It’s been nice and muggy but I’m not complaining. After this past winters storm that had me trapped in the house for a week, you’ll probably never hear a peep out of me about the heat. I recently went thrifting, I haven’t been in a while because it’s hit or miss sometimes. I usually go with a mission in mind and I’m kind of particular about what I buy. Today’s ootd consists of a $2 shirt and $3 jeans

*big SMILE…I love buying jeans primarily from thrift stores because I can find a wide variety of jeans for dirt cheap pricing. It was 50% off week so I think I found six pairs of jeans and some tops for $38 😉

My weight fluctuates too much to pay full price for jeans. One minute they fit, the next they don’t and jeans cost no less than $20 at the popular retailers. I have way too many jeans that don’t fit and I’ve learned to just keep them because eventually they will.  I also find them to be more comfy, maybe because there worn and I usually  have no problem with fit. The shirt was pretty, loved the print and the wrap style. I hope you all love the pictures.

A perfect fit…

Hi loves! I wanted to share my latest dress buy. I’ve been looking to expand my dress selection because I have a difficult time finding the right fit. I found this dress at my local Marshalls and fell in love. I love the fit, it hugs in all the right places and the print is so pretty.
I wore it for my love and I know he’ll love it  *wink

For My Love BIG D 😉 xoxo

A Sunny Disposition…

They say those days that you wake up on the right side of the bed, pretty much determine the rest of your day. I’m believing that more and more these days. I’ve finally started accepting the things I can’t change and learning how to find other alternatives. I use to get really frustrated when things weren’t going my way and I often wondered how I even arrived at certain obstacles in my life. I’ve learned that obstacles are inevitable,  so I’ve become better prepared when they come my way. I’ve also discovered that an optimistic and realistic outlook help soften the bumps in the road.
I’m pretty much all smiles, I prefer smiling cause I look either mean or really serious if I dont…*so I’ve been told ;).. I think smiling just comes naturally for me,even when things aren’t so sunny.  I just can’t see the point in looking sad all the time. I mean who wants to see gloomy faces and hear sobb stories everyday…not I for one.  I’ve grown so much through my blogging, made friends, and learned so much about myself beyond fashion. I hope you all have enjoyed the journey as much as I have. Thank you all for the continued support!!!

Sweater, Skinnies & Cap Toe Shoes…

OMG! It feels like forever since I’ve posted an ootd 🙁 I’ve been super busy defrosting from this cold weather. I honestly can’t wait to relocate to a warmer place. I just can’t with the single digit numbers in the forecast and the layers and layers of clothing is getting the best of me. I’ve even gained 5 solid pounds *son of a b@tch!!
I picked up this little sweater weeks ago at Forever 21 and thought, how sweet it would be for the month of love. I found these cap toe shoes on clearance at Target for $13..NICE!! and paired them together for a  casual ootd. I hope you all love the pictures, luckily it was a little warmer today for some quick snapshots.

Faux Fur Cape & All Black Attire…

Hi guys! hope your week is going well, my work week is flying by, which is never the case. I think that happens when your in a much better place mentally. I left the stress and unwanted baggage behind me in 2012 and have seriously set out to have no one stand in my way in 2013. I feel lighter already, well not physically… LOL!!
I’ve been fighting off a few extra pounds since last year and I finally snapped out of thinking I can buy some whack, get slim quick, exercise machine off those late night infomercials. I’ve been working out and watching my food intake. My focus this year is working on the inner self, which hopefully helps with the outer me, boy is that a task ;-))
What’s your favorite exercise regimen? Did you join the gym in 2013?
